The L shape creates two natural zones: the main run for working head-on and the return for reviewing documents or receiving someone without clearing what was already on the desk. That separation keeps the day from piling onto one surface and helps hold focus.
The upper hutch organizes vertically and hides what should stay out of view behind a sliding door, which opens without intruding on the space of whoever is seated. The drawer pedestal keeps supplies and files within reach, and the integrated cable grommets leave technology connected with no cords running across the top.
